Five Fingers, Ten Toes.

If any of you have had this dilemma, I found an answer.

Every time I go to the beach, lake, river, pond...wherever. Never having the right shoe. This last weekend our friends invited us to a cabin in Brian Head. The large pond out back was cold and fun to swim in. The problem...the beach or lack there of. I had a big cut on the bottom of my foot, and had to limp the rest of the weekend. I tried to where a pair of Crocs...they came off, stuck in the mud. Flip-Flops... I wont even go into the dis functionality of those. Chaco's have holes all over them, so Sand and mud gets all in them, and they are heavy. I always end up going barefoot, and have to be super careful.

Last night while shopping for my upcoming Havasupie trip, I found the solution.

"Five Fingers"

feels like barefeet, but you can do anything in them. Once you get over the weirdness factor, you will love them! I do.

For my mom

I haven't posted any pictures of Zander in a while and I'm afraid she may be going through withdrawals. We don't want her doing anything rash, so here you go mother dear. Bask in his beauty!

Clarification

I knew I would get some flack for my post about Fripp Island, but what I didn't know was how much. I guess I better explain what was going on here so the mean people out there will understand why we are wearing dresses. It's called the Newlywed game. It was put together by a woman...not a man. We answered questions, had trivia about each other, and the final competition was to run back, throw on a mess of girl clothes and be judged who had the best outfit. I of course won. Jesi and I won the entire game, and we weren't the "newliest" weds there!

There is the reason. We don't do this on a daily basis.
So I've finally decided to do a seperate blog for the photography that I do. So that for those of you that are interested can look at it, and for those that aren't don't have to be tortured ha ha!
Here is the link

Austin, Gracie, and Audrey

I loved taking pictures of these kids! Poor little Audrey didn't like it as much as I did though. She didn't want me to go near her. Luckily there was a brief moment where her mom and dad
got her smiling. What a sweetie! The other two were angelic! What a cute bunch of kids! I hope you like these Emily!

Fripp Island

I can't believe I had the guts to put up this picture of myself. I was looking through some old photos on my computer, and came across this rather amusing one. The point is not to show you my beauty, or to make Doug and Jim mad at me. The point is to show you something I saw funny. Look closely.

For those of you that don't know what is going on in this picture...don't ask. For those of you that do...look at Katie. I wonder what is going on in her mind!? At least it's her husbands backside, and not mine!

Lilly

She is quite a little firecracker with the most adorable personality. All I have to do is look at her and I am instantly happy.

Fail

http://failblog.org/

For those of you that know me, you know I have a problem with "Sweet Bros" or "Buffies" this is an example of what that is and why I laugh at them. These buffies decided to get a fake tan...didn't turn out so well now did it!
I know that I just posted yesterday, but on Sundays there is not much to do except take pictures. My mom bought Zander a cute little stool which enables him to climb on everything! He discovered that he can climb on the stool and stand on our end tables and then hurdle himself over the arm of the couch. It must be great fun because he does it over and over again. I caught him in transition checking out our lamp (which I assume will be broken soon ha ha)

The Best of Both worlds...

Not only did Paul actually pose for me, but he made me laugh my head off. You look like a model my love, I'm diggin' the farmer tan. Actually he has a striking resemblance to Shredder from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles! Would you agree?

No baby here

So it's official. Zander is not a baby anymore. I took these pictures of him today and he just looks so grown up!

He is quite the multi-tasker. Not only is he upside-down on his head, but he is balancing on one foot while attempting to brush his teeth. WOW, exercise and good hygiene! Have we raised him right or what!

It's too bad he was having so much fun because he actually fell off the bed right after this picture. As mean as this sounds, I think it's kind of funny when he falls off the bed. Sad but funny. I think I need therapy.

One word. BEAUTY.

and finally, the picture that brings joy to my soul. I'm borderline obsessed with him. Ok, so not borderline, I AM OBSESSED.

Golf Anyone?

The other day I was able to take some pictures of Mark Wetzel, who is the golf pro for Sand Hollow and Thanksgiving Point. I had a lot of fun shooting him because he is so used to posing for the camera (it made my job a lot easier ha ha). If you enlarge this picture you can see what a good shot he is! Look how close his ball is to the hole- almost a hole in one! I guess that's why he's the golf pro (A-DUH!). Thanks for the job Hannah-Banana!
