I need a nap

What a mischievous kid Zander is...not because he wants to be bad, but because he's curious, VERY curious. These past couple of weeks have been interesting. I am AMAZED at the things he gets into. The other day I was upstairs doing some things while Zander was snuggled on the couch watching a "Moo-EE". He was being quiet...after awhile he started being way TOO quiet. I go downstairs to find Zander had:

1. Strung suran wrap all over
2. Dumped an entire bag of thumbtacks on the kitchen floor.
3. Had bitten the tips off of his color wonder markers
4.Decided two different highlighters looked pretty good as Chapstick
5. And was stuck in the hole of our barstool (you know- the empty space in between the backrest and the seat)
Unfortunately I didn't have my camera on hand to capture that particular proud moment. But wait....there's more!
During this time period, Zander had colored all over my couch with a blue pen! And guess what?? He did it again a couple of days ago...(see below)
This is his sad face when he knew he was in trouble. Apparently he didn't feel much remorse about it because he drew on my couch AGAIN the following day. (Hairspray gets pen out in case you were wondering. I used an entire bottle)
He also got his own bowl of cereal the other morning.

He's quite the kid! I get tired just writing about him ha ha! I love him to death.

Oh my, the couch is bad. so hairspray took it out of the fabric ha? I used hairspray on my walls and it took all the paint off. He is so adorable though. He's so busy....Good luck.

He is so cute Jess!!! That sucks about the destruction...but seriously he is darling. I love his little hands in the cereal picture. lol. Yes, you do have your hands full...I guess I should be grateful that my little guy just eats, poops and sleeps instead of wishing he could walk and talk and play:)

Jesi, when you mentioned last night that Z had drawn on the couch, I was expecting to see a few little marks. Oh MY heck! he did a Van Gogh job! I bet you have one sticky couch after using a whole bottle of hair spray on it. The ceral bowl looks like Pauls regulary bowl, so I'm sure he was just coping daddy. The other day when I was over there and "Dad" was in charge... Zander had filled his bowl like that with gold fish. Speaking of gold fish,, where is he these days? Sewer City?

P S. that has to be Pauls bowl sitting next to Zanders. all the milk still in it is a dead give away :)

OH MY GOSH! haha! (I can laugh now right?) I can't imagine...I almost died when Jameson colored on our leather ottoman with washable marker (it wiped right off with a wet wipe) This I'm sure was definitely a "do I pull out the camera, Or do I scream" moment!! Glad you chose pics ;)

Well isn't that just the perfect little slice of "a day in the life of a mom and her son." I love it! Just keep telling yourself "he is sooooo cute!"

ummm can you say PEYTON! She colored on my microfiber chair a few times. I was going to give you some tips for removing it but sounds like you have got that covered.

thank you for the reminder that most little boys are the same. i always like to think mine are the most busy and no one else's could possibly get into as much trouble as mine do. now just times his "busy-ness" by three and welcome to the beeson world! it's a good thing he's so cute... i keep telling mine it's only their good looks that are keeping them around because their endless tornado-like behavior is EXHAUSTING!!!

Stop thwarting his creative juices! Your suffocating him! I think you need to buy him some permanent markers so you can enjoy his artwork for years to come. Has he learned about finger painting yet? I mean with something other than poo? He is gifted, embrace it!

He He He....good thing you have Lydia living next door and not Jaida! Those two would be non stop trouble.
