Oh how I love sugary treats in the summer (I write this as I am eating a spoonful of frosting). I especially love twin pops. Mmmmmmm! On evenings when the icecream man doesn't come through our neighborhood, Zander and I sit in lawnchairs in the shade and eat twinpops....lot's of twinpops. My neighbor came over and visited with me the other day and I was completely embarrassed at the number of wrappers and wooden sticks that I had accumulated. Don't worry, I blamed it on Zander :)

The ice cream man came through our neighborhood for the first time the other day, and I couldn't help but feel nostalgic when I saw him coming around the corner blaring that creepy "ice cream man" music that they always play. I quickly grabbed my wallet and Zander while my mouth salivated for a ninja turtle ice cream bar. Zander chose a spiderman ice cream with bubblegum eyes and immediately started eating it with the wrapper on. By the time he was done he had dyed his face, hands, shirt, and the neighbors driveway (I'm not kidding about the driveway). Anyway, it was money well spent and I felt like I had done my part as a mom by letting him experience something that I had when I was a kid (even though I couldn't help but think about what the blue dye was doing to his insides).
I think he enjoyed it....don't you?
Luvs. Incredibly absorbent and when fully inflated can be used as a floataion device.
I'll be the first to admit that I was just too lazy to go and get a swim diaper when Zander wanted to play in the pool. In the end, I was cheering on the diaper saying, "Stay put little fella, ya made it this far!" When there's an outbreak of crypto in the neighborhood we will be in hiding.
It FINALLY fell off and watered the dead spot on our lawn.
