Quickly wanted to tell all you naysayers (I wont mention any names, Sadie, Hillary, Brooke, Jana, Julie, and Nate, remember my last post or two and all your doubts?) about my Triathlon training. For those that said it couldn't be done, or likely wouldn't be...EAT IT.
To my Mom and Mother-in-law that showed love and support. THANK YOU. I Would never let you down.
Who can remember my goal for the triathlon 5k??
I think it was 22 minutes. Yes, yes it was.
I was mocked, slandered, and ridiculed. I was told by other runners that it was too difficult in the time period I had. I was told that I was tailed by my sisters in the last one, and that I would never be as fast as KC.
3 days ago, I ran a 5k in 22 minutes. I accomplished my goal!
Last night...I ran it in 20 min. and 20 sec.
I don't think I even need to say anything more. I will just show you my medal when I get home.
