Warning......

So this is probably the most embarrassing thing I've ever posted, mainly because this is me TRYING to do a good job photographing people. So if you are reading this and you are a person with even a smidgen of knowledge about photography, just please don't look at these pictures! Anyway, I've had enough people ask me to post some engagement pictures of my sister and my soon to be brother-in-law, so here they are. I took probably a kajillion (is that a word) pictures of them because I wanted to be guaranteed at least one good picture of them ha ha! My little baby sister is all grown up! I swear she was six years old the day before yesterday!

This is Zander and his great grandma sharing Crasins. He didn't want anything to do with her until she bribed him with food. She is seriously one of the cutest ladies ever!

The other day I got to ride in a real live helicopter. I felt so cool and official wearing those headset things! I think that I should buy Paul and me a pair so that we can talk to each other around the house. Or maybe we should just buy a helicopter so that I could fly around to the grocery store and to the library. It can't be that hard to fly one- you just wiggle the little joystick around! ( ha ha, yea right!) Anyway, it was really fun and what a view!

Zander in a nut shell...

Ok, so if your sick of hearing about my child I'm very sorry because I am going to post yet another couple pictures of him. You can't see much of him in these but I think that is why I like them so much. It completely explains Zander to a T ! He is the most active, busiest, and inquisitive child and is ALWAYS on the go. He definitely keeps me on my toes. I have actually started wearing out the knees in my pants that I just bought a month ago from chasing him all over. Some days I am happy when it's time for him to take a nap (ok most days), but as cheesy as this sounds, BEING HIS MOM IS THE BEST!!!

What a silly boy!

This video makes me laugh every time I watch it.

Zander's first steps

Today Zander finally took his first steps (granted, there was a little bribery involved), but he did it! I had to give him a cookie whenever he would walk to someone. He was in a sugar coma for the next hour because we made him walk so much. P.S. ignore my squeals of excitement.

I'll be the first BA member

Don't worry everyone, I'm joining Bloggers Anonomous tomorrow....why is blogging so addicting?! I just had to share these two pictures of my glorious son and husband. I have been taking a TON of pictures lately because I am shooting my sister's engagement photos next week and I am freaking out because I don't know what I am doing. So I have been practicing on my two favorite subjects. What a cute dad Zander has!

It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood, won't you be my neighbor?

It was such a beautiful day out so I took Zander over to this sod farm across the street from our house to play. He was so funny about touching the grass- he just sat there and drank his drink while elevating his feet. Any time his feet touched the grass he would scream.
(Wow, the sun really illuminated his ears. My child was blessed with my ears... poor thing.)

I was trying to figure something out on my camera and I look up at him and he is eating mud and enjoying it immensely!

The only time he didn't like what he was eating was when something remotely edible, like a blade of grass got in his mouth. Look at his teeth- it looks like I have never brushed them HA HA! Hungry anyone?

...At least he was happy....

Taking pictures of my boy at this stage is so much fun, I just wish he would look at me for even an inkling of a second. The only time he would even look up was when a car drove by.

..."Oh a cars coming"....

.....Car....

I had no idea that a one year old could grow a mustache.

Cowboy up!

I took Zander to the fairgrounds the other day because they had a TON of horses there. I had so much fun watching Zander figure out what he was actually looking at. This nice cowgirl lady let Zander ride a horse named big bootie or something (i can't remember). Anyway, Zander didn't really know what to think but it sure was cute seeing him ride a horse!

This was Zander's first time seeing a REAL horse.

I love this picture of Tyler, he was laughing because he said that the horse sneezed.

Jack wasn't as enthusiastic about the trip

R.I.P.

Although Jessica seemed sympathetic in the last post, I know all to well there was no desire to mourn with me. As the Comfy's need to be paid their proper respects, (and I do appreciate your sympathy, love and compassion..) I have put together a memorial "scrapbook" type page with all the events and dates of times we spent together. Rest In Peace good friend, Rest In Peace.
