TIme Flies!

I was thinking about the fact that I am going to be 27 this year and it FREAKS ME OUT! And then to add to that- I AM A MOM! It really is crazy how fast time flies. I can't believe how big Zander is getting. It makes me sad to think that he is already one, and then before I know it he will be going to school, moving out, and loving some other women more than ME! I think I am just going to have to make him the old wierd guy that still lives with his mom even though he's 48 and takes her on all of his dates (if he has any). Or better yet, will someone invent a machine that freezes time so that none of us will have to get old or grow up?

I think this was yesterday!

I'm in denial that this is my son now (even though he is pretty much the cutest thing I've ever seen).

Sunny St. George

I don't want to brag, but for those of you that don't live in St. George- YOU ARE MISSING OUT ON BEAUTIFUL WEATHER! Yesterday Paul, Zander, and I went out to Sand Hollow and played a little golf, hiked a little, (yes, I know...I actually hiked- but don't worry, it wasn't anything strenuous). Anyway, here are a few pictures that we took while we were out having fun.

my little zander, looking abandoned

This is my poor attempt at being artsy ha ha!

What a view!

He looks like he's about to be frisked.

Zander was pooped while holding a rock that coincidentally looks like a poop. HA HA!

Nerd Alert !!!

The three stooges leaving to go and play basketball together. I'm not sure if I should claim them or not?

Almost...

We are trying to teach Zander how to play peek-a-boo, and he hasn't quite figured out that your actually supposed to cover your eyes. These pictures make me laugh because it looks like he's handicapped.

How cool is photoshop!

I'm trying out this version of photoshop and I am amazed at all of the cool things that you can do! It's not the most user-friendly program, but I've figured out a few of the simple things.

The Birthday Boy

My poor little Zander was sick for his birthday party. This was pretty much as close to the cake as he would go. When we put the cake in front of him to eat he just cried.

This was mine and Paul's attempt at making a fancy birthday cake. Good thing we aren't in the cake making business!

Yummy!

Since Zander wasn't feeling that great during his birthday party and didn't want to eat his cake, he and I had our own birthday celebration the following day. I am proud to say that he enjoyed every morsel. At one point he didn't even use his hands, he just shoved his face right in it.

Taking a breather...

The Big One!

This Thursday Zander turns ONE! It's amazing how fast time flies. Hannah took these super cute pictures of him over the past weekend. I'm sort of partial to the one of him falling through the chair. HA HA! Thanks Hannah, you did a great job like always!

Unkie Jake

I think it is so cute when my siblings like my baby (especially my brothers). This is my brother Jake. He hasn't ever wanted anything to do with Zander until just recently when he came to visit over New Years. Zander really took to "Unkie Jake" and I think vice versa.

Christmas morning

I know this is a little late, but I guess better late than never right? We had so much fun watching Zander open his presents on Christmas morning. He loved all of his gifts, but took a little longer to warm up to his horse. It took us most of the morning to get him to sit on it without instantly wanting to get off. Can you tell what gifts we bought for him, and what gifts grandma and grandpa bought him? If anything in the picture looks like it was under $1.99 it was from us. HA HA!! That is so sad that we are that cheap!
