I'M BATMAN !!

Zander was sooooo cute trick or treating! He was amazed at all of the flashing lights and all he did was look around and point.

Zander had his very first Halloween experience. With Paul as his dad it definitely was an "experience" (as you can see from the pictures ha ha)! We went trick or treating in the Wilkey's neighborhood and found out what it was like to be a rich kid trick or treating. There were kids getting pulled around on trailers, four wheelers, rangers, motorcycles (Greg and Freddie), you name it. They were giving out movie theater sized boxes of candy, soda, trick or treat buckets, and even chili and homemade scones. Man, when I was a kid it seemed like we made our own costumes, walked barefoot uphill both ways, and got a bucket full of smarties and a toothbrush if we were really lucky. Times sure have changed!

Zander's first time swinging

We went to the park yesterday with Hillary and my nephews and had a great time! We put Zander in a swing for the first time and at first we weren't sure if he liked it or not, but as he got used to it he had a blast.

Fun at Freddie's

Zander loves going over to Greg and Freddie's house. He has started exploring every little nook and cranny ever since he figured out how to pull himself up on things. He LOVES playing with Grandma Freddie and is also FINALLY warming up to Greg.

I don't think my child can get any better

I hate to break it to everyone else that has kids, but my child is the most fabulous, fantastic, extraordinary, spectacular human in all of the land! Everyday I look at him and think that he can't get any cuter and then he DOES! I know, I know, everyone thinks that about their own child, but this baby makes me want to squeeze him until there is nothing left every time I feast my eyes upon him! I think that I might just eat him up so that you all don't have to hear me talk about him all of the time.

Say no to crack

I went to check on Zander while he was napping and this is what I found. If you look closely you can even see bum crack! HA HA! I hope that he eventually grows out of this "wanting to be naked" phase.

We went out to Sand Hollow yesterday evening and Paul took this picture while we were out there. I think that it turned out pretty cool. What a talented husband I have!

YEE-HAA

My Mom bought Zander this cowboy outfit when he was brand new and I was so excited because he FINALLY can fit into it (well...sort of). I wanted to take some pictures of him in it to send to my mom. Well, as you can tell he was a lot happier naked so I just went with it and took his picture anyway. I think he looks cuter this way, don't you think?

Paul has gotten tired of doing our blog and has passed the crown over to me. I've never done anything like this before so it may seem like I'm a little obsessed. I'm just trying to figure out how to do everything so I will probably be posting a million pictures and entries. For those of you who like to see my child you are in for a treat! HA HA. I have been taking so many pictures of Zander (because I am obsessed with him) so our blog will most likely be dedicated to him.

STOP GROWING!!! AHHHHHHHH!!

Our little Zander is growing up so fast! I can hardly believe that he is going to be 9 months old tomorrow! It seems like everyday he is doing something new. For instance, yesterday I was in the fabric store and I set him down for two seconds while I was grabbing some fabric. I bent down to pick him up and he was just standing there holding on to a ledge that was in front of us. He had never done that before! I was so excited and wanted to tell somebody, so I told the only other customer in the store. Needless to say, she wasn't as enthusiastic about it as I was.
